The CMD Family is a range of high performance, high specification radio modems ideal for professional high integrity applications. The units all use Narrow band FM radio technology at either VHF or UHF frequencies and range from 0.5 watt through to 5 watt RF Power. All units offer fully synthesised frequency selection.
All the CMD Range utilise the advanced Soft Modem functions built in to the firmware allowing simple configuration and adaptation to application requirements. FSK, FFSK or GMSK options are standard with 4LFSK used for the top speeds.
This internal modem function can be bypassed where the units are required to link into installed systems using existing external modem functions.
Internal modem data rates are selectable to 9600 baud.

Standard defaults are available for normal set ups. The CMD Programming Software package is available for advanced users who wish to adapt the units to specific network set up requirements. All frequency/power/timing and modem set up functions are adjustable.
