The CMD500 is a high performance, high specification radio modem ideal for professional high integrity applications such as point to point radio links, point to multi-point radio links, scanning telemetry networks and PLC to PLC links. It has been designed to meet the tough new ETSI radio and EMC specifications recognised throughout Europe and many other parts of the world.
This family of high performance radio modems was launched in early 2006 as a completely footprint and pinout compatible replacement for the old CMD400 series, although a number of new features have been incorporated into the product reflecting user feedback from the many thousands of installed units.
